There is always something interesting to shoot at Backwoods Quail Club. Rick Hemingway, the proprietor, has run the traps at the Parker-L.C.Smith shoot for many years. He is a great guy. Daniel, where is your granddaughter shooting now?

Mills, My oldest is 8 and I can't wait to be sharing similar experiences soon. That is great news on your sons continued success with shooting. Those are great pictures!

I have been there once and do not recall the name. About an hour from Myrtle beach, small well maintained club with 1 skeet and 1trap field and rifle and pistol ranges all lighted. Will ask the name when I talk with her.

Thank you Harry. We had a lot of fun selling those tickets. Your 410 is a super great gun and no doubt you will get a turkey with it. Good luck!

Bill it is Horry county chapter wildlife action. Was only there an hour to test out her new revolver and wish I could have stayed to meet the clay target shooters who were just arriving but I had an urgent appointment with a soft shelled crab.

Bluefield Shooting Club near Jacksonboro, South Carolina has a wonderful course. Rick Hemmingway from Backwoods sets their targets monthly and they are a challenge. My cousins from Savanah shoot at Forest City and will met me at Bluefield when I'm at Edisto. We got rained out this past summer. Pictured are me, Harrison, Peter, and Gains Scott.

Daniel, The Lovely Linda's nephew was a Horry County firefighter until recently when he just had to move up close to his mom here in MD. His mom and dad located to Myrtle Beach decades ago, but his dad passed away and mom sold the plantation and moved up here to MD. One little brother and his family are still in Horry. Little brother is a teacher and sports coach.
