Pin guns were only made in the earliest days and only in a 12 gauge (Sterlingworths). Rumint has it Fox was utilizing left over frames from the early days and therefore the extra work had already been done (ala Parker style).

Me thinks our late friend Mr. McIntosh was too deep in the single malt when he came up with that idea!! A Philadelphia Arms Co. Fox frame is much longer than any 12-gauge A.H. Fox Gun Co. frame.

A Fox pin gun that I did not buy at a Richmond gunshow a few years back is one of my regrets. 32" in excellent shape for $1,200.
