Dump in the woods I will tell a story when I have a little more time. Sometimes it would be nice to delete when you are a retard and make two one sentance posts. Duh

As usual Rich a great story. I felt like I was there my friend.

Rich I hope someday we have birds to hunt again. The phesants I have seen lately I can count on my hands and I know I would have to go back at least a month to fill one hand. See some chickens but there hard to find a lot of country.

Mother Nature is pretty resilient and I think the birds will make a comeback.
We have very few wild Pheasants where I live anymore. The change in habitat, & predators have taken their toll but once in a while I'll see one in my travels and smile.

What a great story and a great hunt. Would love to get into some grouse. Been along time since I seen one in CT. I also have to say, I have a soft spot for the straight grips!
