The nice ones are pretty scarce - only about 2.5% of all Parkers made were produced under Remington ownership.

2366XX has a cap identical to the one Bruce showed above with "Parker" on the floor plate.

Though clearly an Ilion gun, #238528 has a Parker Bros., Meriden PG cap. Dean, it's a 1&1/2 frame VHE 12ga, SST, BTFE, 26" bbl., checked butt, chokeless "skeet" gun. The top rib is rolled "Parker Bros. Makers, Meriden, CT. U.S.A. Vulcan Steel". Why would it need an SST; wouldn't an NSST do?

I know Remington had an abundance of Meriden grip caps for the small frame guns but not so sure they had a lot for the 1 1/2 and larger frame Parkers. It would be nice to know, along with your style of grip cap, what frame size the gun is.

It could be the same grip cap as the one on this CHE that was probably redone by Remington......the date code is struck on the barrel flat but I didn't look it up.

If only the Remington codes would lead to documentation on what was done to the gun, I think we would see several entries on that one.
