That's a great freebie. Do you have or can you find the missing piece of wood? That would be a big plus.

Default Just bought this gun from a Glastonbury High School classmate

It was his grandfather's gun and his grandmother was furious that he bought it new from the boys in Meriden.
It has probably never been out of my hometown very much, only to the next town over where it was until today.
The barrels seem correct and the hang tags seem to back that up.
Not very often do you get all the original paperwork (all 3 tags), even the 1922 catalog.
I found this thread by searching the S/N on the Forum.
Frankly, I don't care about the missing piece of stock.
I am going to go visit my friend Dean-o Romig and show it to him.

I like 26 in barrels, the more open the better.
Nice pick up George. Id fix that chip in the head of the stock, and just shoot/hunt that gun.
