I also wouldn't mind owing this one, especially since many trap guns are modified anyway. I still have a Parker SBT on my wish list.

I zoomed in and the inscription is hard to read. I think it says

Donated By(I think...this line was tough to make out)
Nan & Frank
Pachmayr
To
Ducks Unlimited

Yes the inscription reads "Donated By Nan & Frank Pachmayr to Ducks Unlimited"
Not sure what year the donation was made.

This gun is in an Inuit community in Nunavit, Canada. The asking price is a quad but I'm sure I'll settle on a cash amount since the logistics of getting a quad up there is ridiculously expensive not too mention a huge over pay! Would an offer of $2500. be unreasonable? I'm not looking to take advantage of anyone up North but I just don't know what is reasonable.

Do you know how it got there? Bet it's an interesting story how a gun like that ended up in a community in Nunavut. I don't think there is a trap club in the entire territory. RCMP officer maybe?

As far as price I've found that Parkers in Canada are about 25% less than what I would expect them to go for in the U.S., but I have no idea what that price should be for this interesting SBT.

It's not uncommon to see high quality guns and optics given as payment to the guides and outfitters in the North country, to hear of a gun that is unfired is where my curiosity kicks in! It could have been RCMP or politician who took it up there for a ceremony years ago and this gentleman's dad ended up with it, who know....I'll share the story if/when I find out.
