Posting pictures is a little too high tech for me. I still use a flip phone.

Is it one of the early ones with the dial on it? You can't post pictures from those.....

I've got one of those rotary dial phones too. I have to go through an operator to make a call. For God's sake , I shoot 100 year old shotguns.

Had a 22 and 23 last night and was shooting my magnum loads - 7/8oz. Both misses were me. Our leagues are starting and I hope I can continue with the good shooting. It feels great and swings nice. Maybe it's the Federal papers I reloaded.

Well, the more I look at the barrel, the more disappointed I become. I believe the fellow doing it used a sand blaster to remove the old bluing. It's now a grainy black, not a nice smooth surface. What do you guys who own one have to say about the surface. It was smooth when I gave it to him. It is very uniform in color, just a shall I say ruff surface.

He probably let it rust too long.

A good friend, who is also a gunsmith, is the one who suggested it that a sandblaster was used to remove the old bluing. He said he then should have smoothed it up before bluing. I'll just shoot it for now.
