Nice post Bob

To everyone, for the future, leave out the comma in the serial number. That will make the SN searchable in our forum database. If you open up the search tab and type in a SN , the entire database will be searched for anything about your number.

Whatever happened to the edit function on our posts? I was trying to remove the commas in the serial numbers of the SSBPs I listed above but had to repost them. Just wanted to make it easier to copy and paste into the search function. Didn't we used to be able to re-open and make changes? Thanks.

I also have one with 2 serial numbers, 35177 and 88761. That one stays though. It is off a B grade that was originally sold to an American pro shooter that shot under the name of Robin Hood. I bought a 0 frame 16 GH with the Robin Hood trigger guard out of Ontario, and it was about a year before I realized I had already picked up the SSBP off the same gun from western Canada. The letter says the buyer supplied the butt plate for his new purchase.

I've got a few more around here somewhere. If they turn up I'll post the serial numbers.

If you have a letter written by Parker or Remington or any other seller or repairers of Parker and it mentions a serial number , this is a good place to post it.

The "Edit" function now has a timer on it. At least one poster made a habit of editing and deleting so often that the sense of the thread was hard to figure out. This is the moderator's wise decision.

Default VH receiver & floorplate 144283

I have the frame & floorplate for 144283 . Most of the guts are in the frame. Its in the book as a 28ga 28" straight grip gun. Check your barrel & wood piles. BTW- nonejector gun.

Thanks,

Tom
