Congratulations on a beautiful litter of pups. A friend was able to save a pup that had to be nursed by hand to survive. The pup made it and he is named Toast.

Wow. Beautiful pups. Now there's a whole bunch (er...litter) of optimism for the future!

We have a litter of English Setter pups. 9 puppies!! Both the dam and sire are papered through FDSB and have awesome pedigrees. Should be ready to go mid-October. Dam is a tri-color Decoverly and Sire is an orange belton Royal Sterling (MI). Cost of the dogs is $1200. $200 non-refundable deposit gets you reserved on the list. The litter will be registered and will have necessary vaccinations and deworming.

Beautiful dogs and litter.

Yes, King Buck was the runt and a very sickly pup. Sometimes they turn out to be one of the best of the litter. Years ago, I took a chance on the runt out of a litter of Bluetick Coonhounds. I knew that both sire and dam were proven coon dogs, so the odds were good.

She turned out to be a nice little coonhound. Fast and hard treeing. Any pup is a gamble. The key is in the breeding and genetics.

do you have hip and elbow ratings on the dam and sire from the OFA?

Orthopedic foundation for animals?

The King Buck you speak of owned by John Olin was considered the GOAT. John also founded the OFA to improve all breeds health and wellbeing.

Decoverly's Natty Jo registered in November, FDSB # 1687065. PenHIP 3/6/19 RT 0.25, LT 0.27, no osteo or cavitation, #2196. OFA result was good. Dam is Decoverly's Knick Knack, Sire is Decoverly's Music Man. Schuyler's FDSB # is 1660939. His OFA preliminary exam was good-very good.
