John: Yea, if it wears off they have to draw down the entire receiver and start over to re-do it. So I was told. But they sure are pretty.

I have a strong suspicion that you guys paid a bit more for your Krieghoffs than the $750.00 I paid for mine. My gun was a little plain so I bought a gold inlaid K-80 trigger guard that was a little bent. It cost me $5.00. I pounded it straight and screwed it on. It didn't need to be reblued so I saved the $2.99 a bottle of cold blue would have cost me. It was a trap gun when I bought it and I wasn't shooting trap. I traded the 30" trap barrels for a set of K-80 Kolar tubed skeet barrels. I gave the fellow $100.00 because I thought the skeet barrels and tubes were worth more than the trap barrels and he was a friend. As I said, still going strong at 54 years old.

Wish list
I just purchased my first Parker a month ago. 16 gauge 28 inch barrels choked improved and modified. I have the bug. I would like a 20 gauge with 26 inch barrels choked the same.

My wish for 2021 is a set of .410 barrels for my 28 gauge Repro. Can anyone help me with this?

Congrats Tom. My first was a 16g and now I think I am of the mind that with a 16 and 28 you can cover all the bases! I know that's futile as these guns are nothing short of addicting so I'll likely get other gauges. Sounds like you have a PERFECT grouse gun. I have a 26" VH in 16 choked C/IC and it's very sweet. On its way to me is a 16 on an "0" frame with 26" barrels. Was unable to find one in 28". That now makes three Parker 16's and this may be what I concentrate on going forward.

I agree , I think a 16 and a 28 are ideal for anything. I have been using a Cheap Spanish made 28 to quail and doodle hunt. It gets the job done. That being said Parker’s are the tops in my opinion. I will be on the lookout.

To hopefully get the Trojan grade stock reconfigured to vh grade on my first Parker, a vh. Also to figure out what to do with my second Parker, a DH grade which I dumbly bought it wearing the barrels of an older mother.
