They have a couple of fields that are vacant from time to time. I'm sure it would be easy to schedule an 8 gauge fun practice. You just need to check with Ernie or in the office.

If anyone wants to exercise their 8ga. cannons don't forget the AHFCA sponsored Bo Whoop field. If there is enough interest a side event for bragging rights could be loosely organised. Let me know.

Your 8ga. guns can be shot on the Bo Whoop event for score, you can play the money, but cannot win the trophy which is reserved for those shooting an AH Fox gun.

So, if you think that your artillery class scatterguns can run the targets please show up. I, for one, would love to see them all together.

PS: Good luck Dean. I know fully about recovery after surgery.

What if I put a piece of masking tape on one of my 8's and with black majic marker write "AH Fox"

I'd be quite open for an informal anything with the shoulder cannons . As to whether I clean all the targets that up in the air all I can gurantee is that I'll pull the trigger each time

Yes Craig, I'll have her and my 26" 28 in tow along with a couple of long legged smallbore Foxes.

I may have spoken too quickly on the 8 bore guns on the Bo-Whoop. After checking the rules it seems that the max shot charge is 1 1/4oz. If you 8ga. jockeys can load 'em down to that then you can compete. If not I'm thinking a special 8ga. sub-event just for the 8's. We can charge a purse paying 1,2 and 3 places and bragging rights of course. Any suggestions welcome.

And the search continues for the elusive 32" 28. I don't have that many years left.
