This must be a local thing. We can still get just about everything except a couple of powders and loaded shot gun ammo.

I went to a local ammo/reloading supply shop yesterday and they were out of almost everything again- got the last 1lb bottles of 7625 and 4756 since he will likely not be getting anymore.

they had a good supply a while back - but only in bigger bottles, this time he said he could get me anything nobody wanted

I just got 5000 16ga wads from Ballistic Products. I have primers and shot and haven't had to look for powder....yet but the search begins again.

I have purchased two bricks of 555 .22LRHP ammo one Remington the other Federal of less than $30 in recent months.

It's still a bit crazy around these parts. Yesterday the Kittery Trading Post put out 60 "Bucket of Bullets", 1400 rounds of 22LR for $75. Not a terrible price in the current market. They were gone in about an hour.

Twice in recent months I have purchased the 555 pack of 22LR for about $30 and these were HP so thats not a bad price at all.

Saturday I managed to get three pounds of PB (just in case I run out of 4756) and a can of 4756 along with 4000 Win 209 primers.

Here in Michigan we're putting together a order at the club from Dawsons in Ohio [ a wholesaler] and they have about everything in stock except Federal and Remington primers. As I've said before, these shortages must be a local thing. What's nice is that they add the order to a truck load of clay birds so we don't pay shipping or sales tax. We just have to wait sometimes a couple of weeks for them to come up this way to another club. I usually get about 4 to 500$ in my order so I'm saving 24 to 30$ in sales tax alone, plus we get the wholesale price. I did notice PB went from 140 to 152/ 8#'s. The Promo I use is still 85$/8#'s. I've read PB, 7625, 4756 and a couple of other IMR powders will be discontinued because of "lack of sales ".

I am not convinced the powder shortage is local to me nor easing up. If you shop the big reloading retailers as of today; Recobs, Powder Valley, Natchez Shooters Supply, MidwayUSA, Ballistic Products, Precision Reloading, Gameliel etc. You will find that popular Alliant shotgun powders, Red Dot, Promo, Green Dot are not available in any quantity. Most of these places had Promo at all times until just before Christmas.
