Very nice ! You have 20 and 28 gauge barrels for the K-20 ? You given any thought to a set of 410 barrels ?

And I will never forget the look on your face as you were leaving the course. Your had the biggest SEG on your face and proclaimed that that was the best score you had ever shot and you did it with a 28ga and M/F chokes.

Yep....been all downhill from there hasn't it buddy?

Chuck was gracious enough to let me shoot his 28 gauge GH last weekend at our Rhode Island shoot and it is all I have been thinking about since. I am going to see if I can find a nice VH in 28 gauge and then...figure out how to pay for it. I am looking forward to hopefully seeing a few at the Southern.

Craig, yes I have 20ga. and 28ga. barrels. I have no desire to shoot .410. Daryl, you've cost me a lot of money Sorry for hijacking this thread.

Sold a Pre64 220 Swift, a custom 25-06 and a grade 3 12 hammer gun. Haven't bought anything but I haven't been able to look either BUT there is nothing tickling my fancy at the moment.

I'll wait and see what falls into my lap again. A set of hammer gun bbls with fore-end for a 1 frame that I can have tubed for 20g would be nice.

Chuck: They are "horses for courses". I like my Gold Super Scroll Blued a bunch. I have 2 12 ga. barrels for it.

If I could own only a single shotgun a K-80 with 28” skeet barrels and 32” trap/sporting barrels along with Kolar tubes for the skeet barrels would make me quite happy ! Hell as far as that goes a nice old K-32 action with the same two barrels would be fine as well . Oh yeah give me a medium Monte Carlo non adjustable stock with plenty figure and I’ll be fine .

I had a rather Intresting K-80 in my hands today that belongs to a long time friend . It’s I think a Gold Plantation 32” but the intresting thing is a little added extra my friend had done . He sent a trigger guard to Angelo Bea and had him put a gold inlay of a Turkey on it along with some gold inlaid lines . The turkey is a fair facsimile of the NWTF turkey and yes that’s my friends preferred quarry spring and fall .
