I ordered an item yesterday and it should arrive today..... Amazon Prime.
I don't doubt it in the least. If it was coming USPS, even if it was supposed to arrive the next day - I wouldn't hold my breath. .

I mailed a gun to VT. I went to the Post Office Tuesday morning and asked that it get there by Friday. The postman looked and told me I would have to use 2 day express mail and guaranteed it would be there by Thursday. The gun arrived on time from CO to VT.

My Amazon orders, generally small stuff, are arriving much faster now and pretty much when they say they will. I have to go in today to pick up three orders. A friend in Idaho sent a very nice and very old railroad lantern to someone here in southeast Alaska, using two boxes, one for the lantern body, the other for the more fragile glass globe. One box arrived empty, having clearly been cut open and resealed. That was a surprise.
