Did anyone see any gems that sold well for the buyer?

There were two Model 21’s that hammered at big money one was 60k and the other was 80k . I’m not aficionado of 21’s to know if they were good buys or not but I thought they were big money . A Remington Model 11-E brought what I thought a real good price for the seller .

I dunno why but last spring I started off mounting the gun not in the pocket but out on the bicep and didn’t really notice it until I did Allgood’s 16 gauge shoot with the VHE 16 skeet with the checkered butt . At the end of the day I had two big knots one on the bicep and the other right on the corner of the shoulder . And all summer and into the fall I’d reagrivate and reagrivate . I could have a bit of a rotator tear as well . But it is what it is and I’ll endure it this year . A good portion of what I like shooting don’t have pads or have thin pads , so each time I touch off whatever it may be I’m getting it all . I’m planning on shooting two or maybe four of the 10 gauge events in Sanford but I may go with 1 or 1 1/8 ounce loads .

Yeah after viewing the gun Thursday and getting a rough measurement of bore size I was perusing a couple places to have a mold cut for the gun .

I watched almost all the auction and bid on a bunch of guns. I thought it started lower than I expected but then took off at a good clip. A lot of the guns I wanted to bid on jumped out so fast I couldn't get in. The hammer Parkers all did much stronger than I expected. I wanted to buy the .410 and 20 High Grade Browning M12's and went hard after the 410 but I dropped out.(I have a mint in the box 28 and it is one of the best shooting shotguns I ever used). The two I wanted went for almost twice I have ever seen sell and I have kept an eye on that market for a while. I wanted on of the S3EL Berettas because of the game gun weight but I bid until my price was right at normal market without the buyer premium. The other 3, which I didn't think were as desireable, all went for near the same money. I ended up buying two of the oddest guns in the auction. One was the 24 gauge Rizzini. Paid way way too much but I have wanted a 24 for the oddity and it is the only one I have had a chance on for several years. The other was the no-name hammer gun with the US Flag damascus. Probably too much but cheap and it had some points that made me think it may be a reasonable gun by someone. Also, never had a barrel in that pattern and I have never seen many of them. I had thought about trying to buy the last gun, but didn't bid because there was nothing to indicate whether it was actually rifled. I was afraid to bid without knowing and had neglected to try and find out before the start. (I am sitting here goinf through my first bout of covid so have been busy the last few days.) I would likely have been in at the hammer price. The one I kicked myself about was the 8 ga EH.I tried to make three bids on it at the start and all were over me before my online bids registered. I stopped and was looking at something else. I thought that it went at a great price considering what I have seen over the last couple of years. Altogethwer a good auction and it made me feel good about some of the guns I have picked up over the last few years. I think hammer guns of all kinds are really coming up to the market recently.
