Bill, Looks like a Lab. But he looks to be sneeking up on something. Do Labs sneek? I guess he looks like he could be pointing as well. Suppose they could point? Only upland hunted with a couple, so my opion is not the best. But I know its agraviting when no answers you question.

My faithful Chesador both points and sneaks up on game. My dog points until a bird starts to run then he flushes. He will also sneak up on game by lowering his body a couple inches and taking a step and pausing. During this sneak his face has a very serious look about it. Anyway, he steps, pauses, steps, and so on. I've never hunted behind a real pointing lab but will certainly consider one for my next faithful friend. We can learn a lot from our dogs... Mark
