Jim has reminded us that the gun was an ORIGINAL factory 28 gauge before being sawed off. Jim mentioned that in his first post. The faked up rib marking is in the Parker style, but way less than perfect, as all such faked up markings were. The only perfect marking I have ever seen is on my sleeved magnum ten gauge Parker DH. That marking now reads "Lefever Steel". If the same craftsman had instead marked it "Titanic Steel", it would have been hard to distinguish from original.
