I tried, but failed. Wish I had bought it at the Southern last year. Adding the rake, etc., it went for substantially more than.

Louis, that gun was not at the Southern last year, was in my gunsafe( belonged to my wife's uncle).
Do you happen to know what it went for approximately.

I was very surprised at the selling prices of the 28 gauge Parker Reproductions. Two barrel set sold for $9,600 and single barrel also sold for $9,600. The latter was a double trigger gun.

lot #28- .410 and 12 ga. VHE sold for $ 33,000

The .410 VHE was in much better condition and had a higher level of finish; the 12 and .410 of Lot 28, not so much. But I thought the combination of the two at the hammer price was a good deal, especially if you never owned a .410 and always wanted one. Both were well used but definitely not abused.
