Here is another one in the works. This one a 20g with a Grouse as the subject.

Here are the finished photos of this 20g repro. I restocked the gun to the customers specs, wiped out the bottom engraving for Geoffroy to do the C grade style grouse. Turnbull case colored the frame. I did the nitre blue. The barrels are untouched.

I like everything about it, except I still am not wild about Turnbull's interpretation of Parker case colors.

I will add, Brian gets it right when he does the heel of the comb! One of my biggest objections to the original Repro treatment.

“Heel” of the comb?

Are you referring to the rounded heel of the stock where the rounded skeleton steel butt plate is inletted?
