I would think that could be touched up without redoing the whole stock. Since it is on the bottom, if it wound up "good enough" that could be a solve.

I would just live with it and use the gun. Every ding has a story behind it. Remove them and they are forgotten. You will not miss a bird, real or clay because of those.
