Dean, at 78 years old, I have had 75 wonderful years with setters, with a pointer or two squeezed in. I even had setters when I was working for Uncle Sam, with my dad as custodian. You will survive this bump in the road and come out with another dog of your life. Press on, my friend.

Dean, That is, perhaps, the hardest thing in life to do. I had to put Hap down last May and we have missed him every day since. Our prayers for you to find peace. Gracie's pain is no longer.
