For our New Year's Eve dinner, I made pheasant tikka masala, with a side of saag paneer & brown rice. Washed down with a good beer, it was a nice ending to 2021.

Wow! I make shrimp tikka masala and that is recent dish for me, and I LOVE IT (with chick peas). Will have to try it with a bird.

That does sound good (shrimp & chick peas). For days, I was thinking of making the goose breasts that I got back in November in a cassis & elderberry sauce. Then, on Dec. 30, my wife said she was in the mood for Indian food. You never know what we'll be cooking up next !

Good ideas are good no matter who’s idea they are. You and Julia will get credit, if we run with it. I have some notions running through my noggin on how to proceed.

I read an article in the British magazine called The Field, which reprinted a hundred year old recipe which recommended hanging the pheasants until you could hear the maggots crawling around in the bird. URRPP
