"Hi-Skor" 700-X was the great powder when I started skeet shooting in 1971 - 3 when I was stationed in San Diego. Used it in 12-, 20- and 28-gauge. Got to Alaska in January 1974 and others at the Chugach Rod & Gun Club were appalled and the newer DuPont guides didn't have the 20- and 28-gauge loads I'd been using out of a 1967 guide. In the 1975-6 DuPont guide the 12-gauge AA 1 1/8 ounce load with Winchester primer and wad was 19-grains of "Hi-Skor" 700-X. Same in the 10/90 IMR guide.

Here you go Craig. See attached PDF.
In a .357 case, 4.4 grains of 700X; 158 grain lead bullet is very accurate. Six shot group @ 50 feet with a S&W M28 six inch. |
