Default A grade Kind of day

Today I skipped work for Good Friday and went shooting. I took my AHE 12, I haven’t had it out in more than two years. Just a great day, 85 degrees bright and sunny with lots of birds flying. The old girl accounted for a large pile of pigeons and Eurasian doves.

What a beauty!

The engraving on Grade 6 Parkers of any era is simply the best!

Sounds like a great Friday to me Dave! I went out yesterday and shot the Fox. Not many birds, had to be patient and make every shot count. Were you at the dairy off Elliot? I was just east of AZ dairy myself. Birds are nesting I think.

My buddy Ron Woods shoot's there. We're just east at Boyles place. Without the cows it's slowed some. They are doing demo and moving the operation to Casa Grande. Hopefully we'll be able to shoot there next year. I'd like to shoot where you are. I watch the birds fly in and out of there. Sad that times are changing. The west coast is migrating to AZ and buying up our land for new homes. Sweet gun Dave!

David,
Did you ever know Alan Lehman? He hunted the dairies around Phoenix often. I got to go with him 2-3 times over the years. What a hoot!
