He's willing to negotiate and it is "supposed to be fun."

A few years ago this gentleman purchased a model 21 from me at what I believe was a good price.
12 gauge, 26” barrels, WS1/WS2
Within a few weeks it appears on his desk at twice the price.
If you don’t ask........

I bought a 20ga repro from the same guy a few weeks ago. Probably paid on the high side but it was a 28” gun with double triggers and nice wood. Turns out I had actually hunted with the guy in Texas years ago. He has a lot of guns for sale.

Attended a gun show in Dallas recently and there were at least 6 Repros for sale; all in the $4000-5000 range. I don't pay much attention to them so don't know the gauges, but no outlandish pricing and very little notice from attendees that I saw.

If this is a "rare" configuration, what other ones would be rare ?

28ga, straight stock, splinter, delete trigger skeet in/out and mod/imp cyl ?

The same with double triggers might be more rare.

Personally, I don't believe there was a large percentage of Repro buyers back in the day, nor today for that matter, that prefer to buy a Repro configured with a PG, BT and double triggers. Sure there are some, but not a lot -- maybe he was referring to rarity in that sense. Or, if this gun does indeed have a 14 7/8" LOP it might be rare in the sense there probably weren't a lot of Repros ordered with a custom LOP.
