I wish I could meet some of you folks. They're breaking ground on a new pond tomorrow on our property with the big work being done over Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There are two truisms in life: ONE, never trust your hunting or fishing guide to bring toilet paper. TWO, never trust your wife to over see your new bass pond and specifics. Wish I could make it, hope to see some of you at Rock Mountain for Mike's event.

If I bring shrimp cocktail, will anyone eat it?
My second vaccination at the Brockton VA was unexpectedly cancelled this morning. They ran out of doses. Our govt at work...had to be rescheduled, so I can shoot tomorrow.

I might eat a shrimp or two...

Too bad about your vaccine but that’s Massachusetts for ya.

Great new Allen! I am glad you can make it and we will have a nice area for lunch after we shoot. I am looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow morning. Please let me know if you have any questions.

I need to get my Parkers organized and ready for tomorrow. I will be shooting a 16 gauge top action hammer gun, but also have a few to bring for show and tell...

Safe travels everyone and see you in the morning!

I’ll be shooting one of my 16 hammer guns too and a 20 gauge Trojan and I might bring another... something.

I haven’t shot clays for almost two years so I’m probably a bit rusty but I did get new eyeglasses so that might even things out a bit.

Dean, the VA didn't even give those of us who had appointments today for the covid shot, didn't have the deceny to call or text us of the cancelation. Yet we all got prior emails confirming our appointments. The other vets and I were pissed off.

The shrimp I'm bringing are extra large, you may only be able to eat one or two. Lol.

I thought I would bring 3 Parkers, my grandfathers/dad's 16 that Lawrence rebuilt for me some number of years ago and 2 20 ga Repros that fell in my lap recently and that I've come to enjoy shooting.

Allen you mentioned in another thread that the drop at comb on the repro was a problem and i said i had solved it by using a boot style slip on recoil pad there-by lengthening pull and bringing my cheek back. I will bring it tomorrow and you can see if it is what you need.

Thanks Dan, I'll try it. I did discover that if I put my cheek down hard on the stock that my shooting improved dramatically

I'll bring serial #97 so everyone can see a nice early Parker.

I have a few others as well, to show and hopefully get some opinions/advice on. Looking forward to a great time!
