Thanks to everyone for their help and for this post....I contacted the Museum re a letter for my Ithaca earlier today and they responded asap, looks like I will be getting a letter in a few weeks!! I'm glad to see better quality letters coming, but damn! You can shoot a lot of shells for the price of a letter nowadays, especially when you don't know what you're gonna get!

I've been waiting 8 months for a Cody letter on my Grade 5E Knick Single Barrel Trap. Apparently Walter has not handed over the custom order books that likely contain my serial number.

Speak of the devil. Finally received my letter last night. Now to do some research on the original owner.
