My new to me 1/2 frame gun weighs 10 oz more than my 1 frame 12 ga. 7 oz of that is in the beavertail forend. The serial # is on the list.

Jeff, is that 7 ounces the difference between a splinter forend and the beavertail, or is it the total weight of the beavertail?

Mills, that is a sweet looking 1/2 frame and a sweet looking rack of Parkers. What do you consider expensive?

I think they're putting a pretty stiff premium on a 1/2 frame. What other special features does it have?
