Thank you for the kind words, Buddy. The person to really thank is my Dad for making that hunt possible. The article wrote itself from there.
I am not sure if Archibald Rutledge ever hunted here, as it is out of his territory, but I believe more than a few notables have been there |

My congratulations to member Mike Franzen for his Parker Pages feature "Dr. Parker and Ohio Pheasants"!
It is well done and well photographed. PLUS, it features some of my favorite people and my fav preserve: Triple Creek Farms! May they all enjoy their Parkers and the grand sport at TCF... that is, until I return and make a muck of things for a Fall afternoon. |

Craig, and all - As I've stated before.... All 1,352 copies of Parker Pages, Volume 26, Issue 2, were shipped from Village Press, our printer/publisher, by truck on a single pallet of several cases of the magazine to the USPS receiving/distribution center in Traverse City, Michigan. They were all processed according to postal zip codes and shipped to the various US Postal Distribution Centers across the country responsible for those zip codes. Delay problems are not the result of mishandling by Village Press or the Traverse City US Postal Center... The delay problems a few members are experiencing are due to the (lackadaisical) handling accorded to "Periodicals" by these local post offices and distribution centers. Anyone having ongoing late delivery problems should call or visit their local Postmaster... to begin with. Thanks everybody for your patience. Dean .
