One of these days I will probably get a 410. The thing is, you can get another 28 for less money and 28's are the top.
The cover is a lot like Morrison Pines. It is a lot thicker and you have to work to get to the birds. |

I like the thick stuff reminds me of grouse hunting. A 28 hammer gun is the best for quail.

The .410 doesn't really interest me, but the 28 is one of my favorite Parkers!

410 is the only one of the major gauges I don't have now, so will have to get it at some point.
Agree about 28's Reggie. |

I wouldn't be without my 28's a VHE straight grip skeet, an up grade A1 special 2 barrel set and the W.R. Pape hammer gun. I must confess to a fondness for the Fox FE 410 however

Julia has a Marlin fake LC Smith 410 that has actually been a good gun for her. She was deadly with quail with that gun. She has lost interest in it now
A Remington GHE 410 would be perfect, but need to save up big time. |

Hell! Tom Mix couldn't hit anything with a .410.

Those are nice! Here are a couple that would work also...
Fox A grade 20ga... and Fox Sterlingworth 20ga...
