My goals changed when I signed up to bid on a great VH .410 in a recent auction. Unfortunately, the checkbook ran out about six items before the .410 came up. The .410 sold for a wonderful $9000. Believe me, this won't be the last .410 to come to auction in the near future.

My goal for Parkers for 2019 would be to shoot them more. To be honest, I do not shoot some of my Parkers very much because I end going to the same gun most of the time ( a DHE 16) In Dec. I purchased a DHE 20 that I hope to get too know at the skeet range come spring. As to more Parkers, something always seems to come ago that I think I can not live without and they always seem to cost more than the last one. Need to plan for more bird hunting trips in 2019 not more shotguns.

My Parker goal is the same as last year (and the years before), find a set of Damascus O frame 16 ga 30" inch ejector barrels for my AHE that was born with those barrels but was then sent back to Remington and fitted with 20 and 28 gauge fluid steel barrels (we all know what Remington did with those 16 ga dangerous barrels

) I have seen two sets, but neither were for sale

So still on the hunt !

I guess so...

I shot back to back 24’s a decade or more ago, dropping the 25th in each round. I knew it was not the gun and I decided there and then that I didn’t need to do that to myself and I sold the gun.

Two goals. 1. To still be upright and breathing in January 2020. 2. Come up with a 26" 20ga to replace the one I gave to my niece, which she finally got to shoot two weeks ago. She hit well with it and was very happy....and, as I had advised her, she refused to let anyone else, not even her parents, touch or shoot it!
