1) the engraving was done primarily using a programmed computer CNC or duplicator machine and hand-embellished.
3) Probably a duplication of guns sent to Japan for patterns to duplicate. It was probably not fully understood by the factory, Winchester, or even by Tom Skeuse that "Parker Bros." was not a transferred or transferable trademark. .

As Greg said "never say never"! Geoffroy Gournet shared with me that
at the end of production when the plant was closed that there were some B grade guns that the engraving was not done on the floor plate and were sent to him in the Custom Shop to complete. He did not say how he finished them out... regular Japan B engraving or something different. |
