Lost forearm

Right Rick. A Repro forend iron from any other 0-frame Repro would work with no fitting at all, except for maybe some very fine filing.

Thanks for all of the help, i will keep my eye out for a Parker also. My father in law is 89. On his last hunt he loses his forearm. He is trying to pass on all of his guns to his grandsons while he is still around. And losing the forearm is really weighing heavy on his mind. I would appreciate any advise you guys could offer.

Did he lose it away from his home, or did he simply misplace it?

He lost it at his last hunt in the field, we drove back out to the hunt site and could not find it.
He was probably taking his gun apart putting it in the case and set it on the side of the truck and drove off. Not a good way to end your last hunt.

I hope he can focus on all the good times he had in the field - not so much about the gun as those times you both shared.

I understand but when you get to a certain age you have a tendency to dwell on certain things and have a hard time letting go

A friend lost a forearm on a LC Smith a few years ago while hunting, he got a metal detector and found it, it took awhile but he found it. It might be worth a try.

I can't remember who did the skit "Testicles, Spectacles, Wallet & Watch" but I thought it was pretty corny. Not so much anymore.

Steve Barnett has a 20 GA Repro Forend Wood and Tip for $80.
Then you would only need the Iron, Ejector Mechanism and Latch from an original Parker.
