Some Visiting Friends
Living on a ridge-top, back in the woods, I regularly have an abundance of wildlife that visit my home. I regularly feed the different birds, squirrels, deer, turkey and occasionally, bear.
I provide them with corn, peanuts and bird seed on a regular basis, and occasionally they get left-over fruit. I don't hunt any of these visitors; they're safe when they're on my land.
On one occasion, and one only, I had five black bear at my property: two females with two cubs each, and another I couldn't determine.
I regularly have several nice bucks as visitors, and this year I've got a really fine 8-point with wide and high antlers, and his companion, a high-narrow 6-point. Turkey? I can't count the numbers there are so many!!
The first bear picture shows momma. Her two cubs are behind her, out of view.
The second bear picture shows momma and her two cubs, snuggled up against her.
The three other pictures show two companion bucks; one is a very respectable 8-point, and the other is a high & narrow 6-point.
