Bill, I do have a letter will dig it out I have taken the trigger guard off and the ser# and grade are stamped on the wood, and this is not a trap gun it is a GHE with 32" barrels

Mike F., yes, the original Silvers pad is quite acceptable. However, I happened to have ordered a baggo Griffin and Howe pads at the volume price years ago and have been so satisfied I have not bothered to deal with the Brits. I did have a wonderful original Silvers pad that I installed on a nice SC and foolishly sold. I mistakenly thought I had too many Parker single barrels. Silly me. I just bought another one last month.
