Bill;
Taking one or two guns is just not fun anymore. I'll carry one gun in the morning and another in the afternoon. But...... If I decide to only take two I guess I'll have to sell the rest to you so I won't be tempted to take more.

In two weeks I am headed for the Forks, Maine, for a week of grouse/woodcock hunting. As my VH 16 on a 0 frame is at Brian Dudley's for some much needed work I hunted with a 1930 transition 16 gauge sterlingworth with 28" barrels and RST spreader loads. Gun weighs 6 Lbs 1 Oz.

Wayne, Congratulations! You are really on a roll in filling up your gun safe with good guns. I see a Sterlingworth 16 in my future, but have some other things to get first.

Wayne, might as well tell us about the Greener. I've seen a couple on the internet lately that are pretty interesting.

Steel barrels nitro proofed 12ga 2 1/2" chambers. Nothing fancy nice wood looks like new. If I were guessing I would say she was made in the 20s or 30s.

By the way I almost forgot to mention she killed two squirles this morning. I am doing my part to keep the squirles from running over charlie.
