Wandered the Denver gunshow today. One table had 12# metal kegs of PB for $179! I've never seen kegs like that. Didn't do me any good as I can't get it home to Alaska.

Seems like that brass is available but I don't know if the prices are good.

Pete thanks for the links. natchezz and Midway had none, my local sporting goods store had none BUT Midsouth had Norma brass and your right at $1.00+ per case it's not cheap but I have 50 cases coming. The shipping is a rip off almost $14 but they got you.

It's for a brand new custom rifle so I wanted new brass and Norma is some of the best.....I hope

One partial explanation is more govt buying. Check Alex Jones site today. You will see the USPS just put out a bid for a couple million rounds of ammo. That takes brass, powder, etc. Wonder what your mailman needs it all for?

As far as buying powder, Brownells is out of most but they are getting it in. I ordered and an 8lb of Alliant 20/28 for Skeet shooting and it was only backordered just over 10 days. No one has it in stock but if your patient it appears it will come in. Price wasn't as good as our club but at least I can get it.

Just my two cents...

Paul Jays Sporting Goods in Clare had several 8lbers of 20/28. I'll be back up that way next week if they still have it I can get it for you and save you the shipping.

I bought (hopefully) 50 rds of Norma brass and with shipping it was just shy of $70
