Default PRESENTING the Fox vs. PARKER CHALLENGE CUP

( Please excuse my public relations interns but this was inadvertently posted in the EVENTS forum, two levels beneath the catacombs and three doors down from "that black hole of curaxxxxxxx" ....Ok, ok...I'll be NICE!!!! See below.)

To our esteemed colleagues in Meriden:

Feast your eyes on the prize comrades!!!

" A tradition like no other..." will be unveiled for the first time at this year's Vintage Cup. The inaugural Fox vs. Parker Challenge will take place over Fri/Sat of next weekend. The majestic FPC Cup, pictured below, will be awarded to the victors, who will take posession and proudly display it in a place of honor until the following year's contest. A silver name plate will be added each year, engraved with the winning team and their cumulative score. Additionally, when the match is officially decided, a bottle of French champagne will be struck with a saber and the contents poured into the cup for the triumphant team to savor. Ahhhh, the photo opp's. should be endless!!

We sincerely hope that 50 or even 100 years from now, future generations of Fox & Parker shooters will still be fervently competing for this prize and will look upon the FPC Cup, with the reverence it so justly deserves!!

Good luck to Team Parker!!

P.S.--Latest line out of Vegas has you at a modest, 11 point underdog (subject to change, should Hurricane Campbell take a more Easterly heading.)

Chris, Preregistration ended on the 12th I believe. The Challenge event will be shot concurrent with the American Classics Event.

This would almost make it worth going....almost but the explosion of a Grouse and the aerobatics of the Woodcock expertly pointed by Daisy win. It's bird season boys, the smell of Autum in the Aspens, the colors, the sound of the dog bell and the smell of burnt powder are just to hard to resist to go shoot clay birds

Gentlemen,

Important Reminder: To all shooters participating in the Fox/Parker Challenge, be sure to bring your official Vintager's, American Classic scorecard to the Fox booth before entering the course. A Fox official will sign you in on the master FPC spreadsheet. Once you have shot your 50 targets, circle back to the Fox booth, so we can record your final score. Then you can return
the scorecard back to the Vintager's shooting registration table. Failure to visit us twice will get a "DQ" stamped over your name.....and no "Saponski" that doesn't mean you just won a free Blizzard!!

The American Classics event can be shot Fri. and Sat. only. Travel safe and
let's hope the weathermen have this one, all wrong.------SC

Excuse Me?????

Not to suggest impropriety, but this seems remeniscent of a tabulation company in Spain owned by George Soros scheduled to count the votes in the upcoming U.S. Presidential Election.
Will there be any official PGCA scorekeepers at this AHFGCA table?
