Default single trigger

Found a gun I like but it has a single trigger. Where they Parker installed? Can they be converted to double triggers? Its a pre Remington gun. ch

Parker Bros installed a good number of single triggers on their guns. It can be pretty expensive to convert it to a double trigger setup and it may be wiser to pass on the gun and look for one you like as much but with double triggers.

Eric, I did this to a gun that had a junk single trigger. It cost me $250.00 but I had the part's.

If Parker put a single trigger on a gun, leave it alone. Same could be said for Miller trigger guns. It was done for a reason.
You want double triggers, there are plenty of them out there.

Well u can help me find one. Stright grip 32 inch barrles chocked F IC D grade still has SSBP sombody added wood to buttstock which chepens the gun and you could get it restocked to fit and not hurt the price. Perfect gun cept for trigger.

Dave do they modify the floorplate or do you have to have a 2 trigger floor plate.

Calvin, I needed to replace the floorplate. Single trigger and double trigger floorplates are vastly different. But this way I still have the complete single trigger set-up should I want to return the gun to original configuration.
