Default Parker identification

I have a Parker with a 2 and E stamped on the water table. Is this a E or G grade? Are they the same? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks !'

The E was the designation for the grade-2 10 gauge with the pistol grip stock.

Default Jim Durchholz

Thank you for your input. I’m excited to learn from experts that forgot more about Parker’s than I know.

Njm, you should become an annual member of the PGCA. It’s only $40 and the benefits go far beyond our wonderful website.

I am happy to relay that I am a Parker collector ass member again!

Also I have a 12 ga Parker G grade with 11/2 frame. I bought the gun with a recoil pad installed. How much does it hurt the value of the gun not having the original ?

In a mint condition gun, 30 to 50%. As condition goes down, the penalty goes down. A shooter condition gun, 10% or zero.

Default recoil pad

There is not a name on the recoil pad. It is red with a black stick on ,on the back also has a black hard plastic spacer.

your 2 guns were ordered from Parker Bros with recoil pads. If I would get a parker bros letter would it be a build sheet on the gun?
