Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..
John D.

NH youth turkey season opened today. My grandsons last youth hunt. (too old next year] . we did some test shots with my NID super 10 fri. to see if he could shoot it, yup no problem. had a few set ups with a lot of birds but all were hung up with the ladies. went to another spot did a crow call and 2 birds went off! set up quick called with mouth call and thats all it took, here they come running to get shot. At 25 yds I said shoot one and he did.
9 1/2 in. beard, 3/4 in. spurs at 20 lbs.
The bittersweet part about this hunt this might be the last youth hunt with my grand kids, i have 2 more up and coming but a 2 and 4 years old i am not sure by than i will be able to do it or any place left to hunt around here.
its bee a great run!!

Congrats to your grandson and you! Nice mature bird.
I took 2 in WV calling both in from 500 yds away and have been working on getting an Ohio bird. Could have took it last Saturday, was pouring down rain and was loading the gun when a longbeard walked past the truck, still had one foot on the running board and decided not to shoot the bird, as the fun is calling it in struttin and gobbling.
