Default L.C. Smith Lamp

I have a chance to buy 3 L.C. Smith paperweights, actually they say Hunter Arms, as well as a lamp marked the same way. Is this stuff real? Did they ever make it? I know this should be asked on " another" board, but....
Would anyone know anything about these? Thanks much, Jerry

I believe Hunter Arms had a Factory devoted to making "Paperweights".........in Fulton as I remember.

Apparently the paper weight business got a little to heavy....

THE LAMP TURNED INTO A VASE!
I looked at the pictures the guy sent me just now and it's not a lamp, it's a vase. Very pretty setter on one side and company logo on the other. Sorta creamy milky white in color. The paperweights have the Hunter Arms logo on them as well. How does something like this sit in an antique store all that time! $100.00 for the three items shipped and insured to me. Is this a legitimate value? I had a letter from a guy awhile back where vases were discussed, but I deleted the mail and for the life of me cannot remember any prices that were quoted. Jerry

Jerry,
If this vase is legit, then it will be worth quite a bit more than your investment. Buy it quickly, before one of the brethren here picks it up and holds one of us Smittys hostage for ten times that amount on ebay! (No offense to the Brethren, of course!)
