A 1 frame 12g is by no means rare. But they are very nice guns if you want a lightweight 12g. But a shorter barreled 1-1/2 frame feels pretty much the same.
I am actually going to be donating a 1 frame 12g G grade for a raffle gun in the future. So, you could have the opportunity to own one for cheap.

![]() That's right Mills. The 1-frame 12 was about as common as the 2-frame 12 in the hammer gun days. I have a beautiful Grade-4 12 gauge hammer gun on the 1-frame with 30" Bernard barrels. .
