Default OT The reason for not using real names on board

Saw this on Double Gun, thought I would copy it for people that don't believe in the screen name change

http://blogs.westword.com/latestword...killing_26.php

I knew Mike Pinkus slightly but he's NOT the first firearms/militaria dealer I've known of that's been set up and paid the price.
This is why I don't post on shotgun forums like the Parker Venue where,by using my real name, I might as well put a beacon on my house advertising the fact that I have valuable guns. IMO the posters over there using their real names and addresses are living in a dream world that could be shattered at any time.

Default Real Names

Personally I would rather trust a stout safe and a modern alarm system over internet security. If Hillary Clinton cannot keep her emails secure from Wikileaks, want to bet how secure your cute little name de guerre is on the internet. Internet security is a joke. Every gun owner needs to assume that people can figure out that they have firearms.

I put my trust in God. But I put my guns in a Mosler. Stupid safe is worth more than what I have in it.

Your choice.. At least on this site - you have a choice, huh?

As for http://Wikileaks.com - let me know when it opens for you, OK?

Have a wonderful evening, Gregory,

Seems to me if the government wants to keep something secret they should store it next to the Presidents transcripts and birth certificate
