Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..

What grade is "V"?
I've an old parker, but can't find info on the grade. I see a VH, and VHE, but not just a V. can someone help me tell what gun this is?
Size -2
Barrel Weight – 4
Serial # - 127434
Made – 1904
Gun Grade – "V"
Vulcan Steel Barrel
Is this a GRADE 0?
Thanks for any help,
Sam

The "0" or zero grade was a grade designation used by the company itself. The V, or VH grade was used in catalog descriptions. The letter designations were the only ones known by the customer base. Your hammerless gun is what is known as a "VH" unless it has ejectors, in which case it would be referred to as a "VHE". The "V" or "VH" designation is all you will see stamped on the gun. The "E" is not normally stamped on the gun until the Remington era, post 1934. Yes, your gun is what is known in the factory as a zero grade, but the rest of us know it as a "VH".
