GE Lefever clay killer
So, on Monday I got a new to me G-Grade Lefever 12 ga/26-incher. She's a circa 1912 gun with ejectors and steel barrels. 26-inch Lefevers are rather rare and most have cut barrels. These barrels are original with tubes that touch at the muzzles and long tapered chokes with constrictions at 11 and 30 points = 1/4 and 3/4 chokes as per the old time nomenclature. 2-3/4" chambers and 7 pounds on the nose.
I shot her this morning on the main course at Rock Mtn and did really well with 83 ex 88, all the shells I had in the bag. Two of the gents I was with had modern side by sides and were shaking their heads and asked to buy her. She also came with the original LOM case which is in nice shape with straps and stitching intact.
Ready for the uplands. I really don't need another upland gun but I just can't pass on nice Syracuse Lefevers.
