Default Early .410 Skeet Shooters.....

Stole this photo off a vintage style forum I follow. Pretty cool, all three guys to the right clearly have .410 guns.

I've worn bibs and a necktie a couple times myself! When I was very little, there were still men who dressed like that for Sunday services at the church where my Great Grandmother preached.

I met Robert Stack some years back at a SxS shoot. I got to spend some time with him, and handle his Parker 28ga. He told me that back in the day, 28s,and. 410s were lumped in the same class in skeet, so he chose to go with the 28. I wrote about it for the Parker Pages, and may still have some digital pics somewhere.
