I just purchased a 20 gauge Trojan. The serial number indicates that is 140-150 guns away from the last one manufactured in the Parker Factory. It is unique in that it does not have Parker Bros. engraved on the sides. Would anybody have any ideas as to why? I have speculated that it is because it was manufactured so close to the Remington purchase. I would appreciate some additional insight.
