Steve, I assume the 14,000 plus Twist guns are the ones we are most familiar with in the 10 gauge PH grade category. These are listed as PT in the serialization book, page 63. T1 are early guns ending in 141,000 range, very scarce and beginning at serial number 1855. ST are Stub Twist, quite early, mostly hammer guns, and usually marked as such. PH and NH grade ten gauge hammerless guns with Twist barrels are among the most numerous and useful Parkers we find.

Default Twist barrels

Bill, I was going by the fact that the gun is marked Twist on the top of the rib and then T, not PT or ST, on the barrel flats. So if that's not correct then how do we ever know what they should be? It is confusing, otherwise. Maybe you have more definitive information that would help us understand. Or maybe a letter from Chuck would clear it up?
