I did end up with a 12 gauge GHE vent rib Damascus gun. Not a 16, but a nice gun anyhow. The big acquisition is a high condition Whitworth barrelled Purdey hammer pigeon gun. It is a full house round action pigeon gun with 1 1/4 ounce proof, 2 3/4" chambers, side clips, third fastener, and uncut original wood. It is a bar in iron gun, one of the last hammer guns before the present reintroduction. Not a Parker, but a nice find.

Well I did end up with a PH 20ga 1 1/2 frame twist barrel, not sure if I want to restore (it's all ready been played with) or not, it does swing nice... But the major setbacks in the bank account came from a few from across the pond, a pair of 28 gauges, and a 16. They put a serious (and I mean serious) dent into my gun spending for a while..............

I only bought one Parker this year, MY FIRST!! It is a DHe with a straight stock and damascus barrels. I haven't used it as it went off to Brad Bachelder to have the ejectors fixed, then off to my Remington man, Terry Deem to have the barrels worked on. Still has to make it to Chris Dawe for stock work. Maybe by fall 2017 I might have the opportunity to fire my first shot from it.

Wayne Owens' C Grade
Wayne, Mr. Wheal was a Parker company shooter. This is the third C grade that has surfaced with his name on it. Congratulations.
